The Bulwark is committed to the same principles as the Society and the material is drawn from a wide source of Reformed teachers and writers past and present. The Bulwark began shortly after the inauguration of the Society in 1851. A copy of the first page of the first issue of the Bulwark is shown. It has gone through different formats over the years but at present it is in a useful format, printed four times a year and sent to almost 3,000 readers, both individual subscribers and through agents in church and organisations.
